A Healthy Eating Plan Completes Any Money Plan

In fact...

A healthy eating plan is "crucial" to the success of virtually any plan... whether it be a money plan or any other type of plan.

It often seems that there is little that is more important than money. It drives most everything that we see or do. It is the lifeblood of the economy and in many ways the measure of success.

However... some things do trump money. And one of those is your health.

Your Health Simply Beats Money.

It is more important than money.

Shouldn't something even more important than money merit a plan or strategy? Doesn't it just make sense to have a healthy eating plan.

The answer is yes... a healthy eating plan is even more important than a money plan.

Nothing Matters More Than Your Health.

And yet... we often take our health for granted. We are busy, often pressed for time, preoccupied with other activities and interests. And so... making our own health the priority that it should be... is often ignored.

The next thing we know... we are overweight, or we are diabetic, or we have heart problems, or cancer, or alzheimer's. The list goes on and on and on.

What happened... we wonder? What went wrong?

More and more... diet is being cited as playing a major role in determining the status of our health. And...

If it affects your health... it affects your financial plan.

Health care costs are a main reason for the bankruptcy of over 1.5 million Americans annually.

Most financial plans are based on the presumption that we will live long enough to be able to reach our goal and so enjoy the fruits of our planning effort.

But when our health fails... we may either not even get there, or we may not be able to enjoy life when we do get there.

Elsewhere on this site I have discussed the importance of long-term health care insurance as a crucial tool that must be a part of any comprehensive financial plan.

Its purpose, of course, is to help ensure our financial plan (future) if and when it is threatened by the high costs associated with health issues.

But what about prevention?

Shouldn't that merit our attention? Or more importantly... shouldn't it be our passion?

We cannot buy good health while continuing to ignore the basic laws of nature...

You Are What You Eat

and

Your Way Of Life Is Related To Your Way Of Death"

So...

How might we benefit from a well balanced healthy diet plan?

There is a mysterious yet irreplaceable force in all of life that knows how to heal itself.

The broken bone, the scab on your arm, the baby being made in the woman's uterus, the ability of children to regenerate a severed fingertip... all tell us that nature has an incredible plan for good health and long life.

But only if... those same natural forces within us have been given the raw building blocks of physical nutrients, plus relative freedom from toxins.

There is a difference between surviving and thriving.

Half of the people on earth live at or near poverty level.
They survive. They do not thrive.

Survival levels of nutrient intake are not enough for the person who wants to thrive.

It is hard to believe that there can be malnutrition in this agriculturally abundant nation of ours... but there is.

America is blessed to have enough food, but we are eating the wrong food... and too much of it.

Americans choose their food based upon taste, cost, convenience, and psychological gratification. That's ignoring the main reason that we eat... which is to provide our body cells with the raw materials to grow, repair, and fuel our bodies.

Based on our food abundance, Americans could be the best nourished nation on record. But we are far from it.

Nutrient intake is crucial for all plants and animals on earth... but not for humans?

Talk to any farmer, animal lover, horse breeder, Gardner, marine biologists, and such and you find the same common ground... what you feed the plants and animals will have a huge impact on the health of the plants and animals.

Then take Americans, most of whom are living a on a diet of cadaverous empty calorie junk food, and use drugs to try to resolve health problems rather than using nutrition as front line therapy.

Go to a big-city zoo or even a county fair where there are many animals in close contact with the general public and you will see a sign saying...

"People Food Can Make Us Sick."

And you have to wonder what food might kill a 400 pound ape that is acceptable or good for a 40 pound child.

We need to get back to the basics regarding health.

What you put in your mouth becomes a powerful biological response modifier, changing the way the body works.

Whole foods offer us a treasure chest of known nutrients and more obscure conditionally essential nutrients that may be able to dramatically bolster your body's ability to heal itself.

Whole foods contain an "elegant symphony" of ingredients that we have only begun to appreciate. The more we analyze whole foods, the more we stand back with awe.

I hope that is evident by now that I have a passion for both financial security and optimum health.

And that is why... I want to make a rare, direct product recommendation. I hope for the sake of your health and your family's health that you will take an honest look.

This is a product that I have and use daily. It provides me an easy and affordable way to consume a diversity of whole fruits and vegetables each day.

I simply could not accomplish that prior to owning the Vitamix machine.
